Economic Empowerment
Empowering Women through Livestock
Economic empowerment is crucial in fostering self-sufficiency and improving living standards. At Mulika Afrika, we understand that sustainable development involves more than just temporary aid; it requires creating opportunities for individuals to actively improve their economic circumstances.
Empowering Maasai Communities Through Economic Empowerment
We recently completed the “Women Empowerment Project”. This project provided 80 women from impoverished families in Loliondo, Ngorongoro district, with goats and 14 women with cows, offering them a sustainable source of income. Additionally, we supported the educational needs of 20 girls and boys by providing school supplies and sanitary pads. Completed in February 2024, the project reached 3,000 people, improving economic stability and educational opportunities in the community.

What do we do?
Our economic empowerment programs are designed to provide the Maasai community with the tools and resources necessary to build lasting prosperity.
