Our Projects

Mulika Afrika is a registered non-profit organization based in Tanzania dedicated to improving the well-being of the Maasai community through comprehensive programs that address health, education, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability. By integrating indigenous knowledge with modern practices, we foster resilience and promote sustainable development. Our projects aim to end Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Maasai communities across Tanzania.

Naboishu Maasai Community School

The journey of Naboishu Maasai Community School began under the shade of a tree, where two dedicated mothers took the initiative to teach 15 children. Today, the school has grown to include a completed Classroom 1, an office, and a toilet block, with Classroom 2 currently under construction.

Economic empowerment is crucial in fostering self-sufficiency and improving living standards. At Mulika Afrika, we understand that sustainable development involves more than just temporary aid; it requires creating opportunities for individuals to actively improve their economic circumstances.

Sustainable Garden Towers

We successfully implemented a project focused on educating communities about the benefits and construction of garden towers. Participants had the opportunity to learn about sustainable agriculture practices and gain practical experience in building and maintaining garden towers.
